Flying Wheelchair Project

Are you planning to visit Chiang Mai? Helping Hand Chiang Mai foundation has launched a project to support the elderly, or those disabilities around Northern Thailand by providing wheel chairs. We are requesting people visiting Chiang Mai to carry wheel chairs which have become unneeded in their counties to support this project.

Our project was inspired by the Nihon Shakai Fukushi Kousaikai Foundation’s Flying wheel chair project. We also widen the circle of the project to move forward. How would you like to join our project with carrying unneeded wheel chair which can be found around your environment. We are also welcome wheelchairs in need of repair.

We are looking forward to your heartwarming support. Upon arrival, we invite all volunteers to a meal as a part of our cross-cultural project.
